LunaList, Flo or Clue: which period tracker is right for you?
Flo and Clue are among the best-known cycle apps in the world, and they work well. What sets LunaList apart is language, a plain account of privacy, and dates shown as a range based on your own cycle. Here is an honest look at which one fits you.

LunaList is a good fit if…
- you want the app in Azerbaijani (or in Russian or Turkish).
- you’re looking for an app with no ads and a free core.
- you want to see why a date was calculated. Every prediction shows its reason.
- you want to know plainly where your information is stored and what is sent to AI.
- your cycle is irregular or you live with PCOS or endometriosis. The range widens to match your variability.
- you want a calm community in your own language, with doctors in it.
Flo or Clue may suit you better if…
- you need the app in a language other than these four. They support many more languages.
- you prefer an app with many years of history and a very large user base.
- you need integrations with wearables or other health apps. LunaList doesn’t offer these yet.
Ask these before choosing any cycle app
- Where is my information stored and who is it shared with? In Mozilla Foundation’s 2022 review, 18 of 25 popular cycle apps received a privacy warning.
- How does the app calculate dates, and does it say when it isn’t sure?
- Can I easily delete my account and all my information?
- Are there ads in the free version?
